Santorini island is one of the most unique and amazing place on earth. It has a magnificent mystic aura and characteristics that are stunning. This island is full of beautiful beaches which have extraordinary colors due to the volcanic properties of the sand. It also has picturesque villages and interesting archeological sites and museums. Santorini is gifted with breath-taking views and magical sunsets.
Its uncommon characteristic is the active volcano and the caldera which were created by a series of volcanic eruptions. For having the chance knowing better the magic of Santorini, we made this bus tour with assistant, by visiting the most important places on the island.

megalochori-tour Starting the tour and Megalochori is a first traditional village we meet. It is made of hundreds of small white painted houses built the one upon the other and it is characterised by its beautiful churches. It combines traditional architecture with vaulted houses and calderimia (stone-cobbled narrow pathways) and a lively community with a fairly large permanent population. In this destination we will stay about 40 min.

Our next destination is Akrotiri village.
As you are taking the road to Akrotiri, on your right, you will stay amazed from the fascinating view of the Caldera. The picturesque atmosphere by the view towards Fira and Oia will rivet you. We will make stop at the archaelogical site of Akrotiri on tour about 1 hour.Akrotiri is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world known to the world thanks to a prehistoric settlement discovered by the excavations, which began systematically since 1967. Reopened its doors after a renovation and the addition of new roof, highlighting the best prehistoric city and all the discoveries brought to light by the excavations of the very significant area that was buried in lava and remained unchanged.
perivolos Next we will visit Perivolos which is the largest black sand beach on the island. Our stay will last for two hours, enough for a lunch break in a traditional tavern tasting local dishes (not included in the bus tour price) and for taking a swim.
volcan-wines The last destination is the Santo Wine Winary.The Union of Santorini Cooperatives, named as SantoWineswas founded in 1947.Today, SantoWines, the biggest wine producer of the island, has approximately 2500 members that equals to the total number of the producers of the island, while 1000 of them are active.Wine for us is art, made with love and care…. and for that reason we have gathered all the necessary elements…We builta new, state of thert winery in 1992 and having as our main concern the continuous improvement of the quality of our wines, SantoWines people, with care and respect for the 3500 years of Santorini wine tradition, create our famous awarded wines Appellation of Origin Santorini of High Quality.SantoWines social responsibility profile goes along with its corporate strategic view. Our aim is to support Santorini producers and to protect Santorini vineyard and its unique in the world grape varieties.SantoWines Research and Development Department is participating in special projects seeking the improvement of the cultivation techniques, of the vinification processes and of the products quality.In Santorini we have created a nursery of indigenous grape varieties so that Santorini vineyard remains genuine and in excellent condition.In the end, the visitor have the opportunity to try three of winery"s best wines.
